Q: HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST FOR?
-one hour.
Q: HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED AND HOW OFTEN? -everyone is different.
-each person's life force is unique and works at each patient's pace therefore it is difficult to know.
-some people have a weekly session, others whenever they feel the need.
-when off work, it is possible to do a daily session in order to shift a lot of patterns but rest is needed as it is a deep process.
-some people will require only one session when others might need few more.
Q: IS MT SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE? -absolutely. MT is gentle, non-invasive and completely safe.
-no medical history is needed as the person's own life force does the healing,
the practitioner is just the catalyst.
-MT can be used on its own or alongside conventional medicine or alternatives and complementary.
-suitable to anyone including children, pregnant women and elderly.
Q:WHAT DOES A SESSION INVOLVE?
-you remove shoes and socks.
-you can lay down or sit down.
-a light and gentle touch is applied by the practitioner on the bony ridge on the inside of the feet from the big toe to the heel then on the hands and head.
-you might feel a slight heat and tingle but never ticklish as the energy starts flowing more freely or you might just feel very relaxed and fall asleep. Sometimes you might feel some numbness which neither lasts nor hurts.
-you will feel thirsty during and after the session, water or herbal tea are recommended.
Q:WHAT ABOUT PREGNANCY?
-regular sessions starting in early pregnancy can ease the pregnancy.
-baby may start kicking at week 14 instead of week 18 to 22.
-the womb can come back more quickly
-the bonding process as well as breast-feeding can be facilitated.
-no post-natal depression
-few minutes of MT on the feet of the baby have a calming effect and make the baby more alert.
